Experience with RTI/ MTSS and other intervention plans
Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate with children of different ages and from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
To be comfortable conducting sessions via virtual meeting platforms
A private workspace with secure internet connection
Must be available during traditional school hours (8:00am-3:00pm) and days (Monday-Friday)
Provide direct counseling services to children
Collaborate with the clinical team to create a treatment plan or an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) for each child, including identifying specific counseling related goals
Provide staff with essential information to better understand factors (cultural, societal, economic, familial, health, etc.) affecting a student’s performance and behavior
Assist in developing positive behavioral intervention strategies
Assess students with mental health concerns
Develop staff in-service training programs
Work with parents to facilitate their support in their children's school adjustment
Assist teachers with behavior management
Provide direct support to staff
