And gains can turn to heavy loss

Amidst the charts and graphs so bright,

Where numbers dance in green and white,

A hopeful heart and steady hand,

Investing in a promised land.

But the market is a fickle friend,

Whose promises can quickly end,

And gains can turn to heavy loss,

A brutal and uncaring boss.

The heart sinks with each passing day,

As profits fade and debts repay,

The dreams of wealth now out of reach,

The lessons learned too hard to teach.

But though the losses may be steep,

And tears may fall and hearts may weep,

The stock market is just a game,

And losing is not a mark of shame.

For in the end, what matters most,

Is not the gains or what we've lost,

But that we took a chance to try,

And learned to soar and how to fly.
